> Description Vendors such as Microsoft, Check Point or Cisco made popular professionals diplomas called certifications, that are granted usually at the end of e training session by answering a MCQ. Sinces a few years, vendor-neutral certifications are growing, enabling people to develop their professional background et get market recognition. Hervé Schauer brings a comparative overview of the main independant certifications in information security : CISM, BS7799 Lead Auditor, CEH/CHFI, SCNP/SCNA, OPSA/OPST/OPSE, GIAC, CISSP and the french ProCSSI.
